Larry Sablosky

Larry SabloskyLarry Sablosky was the co-founder of Indianapolis-based Finish Line, Inc. which grew to be a national public company with over 800 stores. Larry was a senior executive vice-president responsible for day-to-day store operations. He left Finish Line and the Board of Directors in 2008 to turn his attention and focus to the community, and has been active in the not-for-profit world and investing since that time. While at Finish Line, he was a founding member of the Finish Line Youth Foundation, and was the first President of the organization.

Before Finish Line, Sablosky was involved in a family retail business from his days as a child till 1981, when he left that business to join his friends to start Finish Line in 1982.

He has been involved in several community organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Legacy Fund where he was the board chair of both. Additionally, Sablosky is serving today on the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Board, Eskenazi Health Foundation Board, and KIPP Charter School Board. In 2009, Big Brothers/Big Sisters granted him the inaugural Community Mentor Award, and in 2015 Larry and his wife, Lisa, were awarded the Philanthropist of the Year Award from the Philanthropy Association in Indianapolis.
