The School for the Entrepreneur hosts several business competitions each year…
The Ron Rubin School for the Entrepreneur would like to see entrepreneurship ingrained in all aspects of the Culver experience, from the classroom to the Alumni family, because Entrepreneurship is the indispensable element to both America and Culver’s growth and prosperity in the 21st century.
Thanks to an endowment by Andy and Sharlene Miclot of Austin, Texas, The Ron Rubin School for the Entrepreneur’s Miclot Business Plan Competition provides Culver students with a realistic business plan competition requiring teamwork, collaboration, and field research, under the guidance of a mentor entrepreneur.
Have you ever had a Big Idea you never told anyone about? You know, the idea to launch a business, build a better mousetrap, or make Culver a better school? Well, you may get your chance in The Rubin School’s annual Elevator Competition. What’s an elevator competition? The average ride on an elevator lasts roughly 2-3 minutes. You don’t have a Big Idea if you can’t make your “pitch” to an entrepreneur in that amount of time. All Culver students are eligible to compete.
