Thanks to an endowment by Andy and Sharlene Miclot of Austin, Texas, The Ron Rubin School for the Entrepreneur’s Miclot Business Plan Competition provides Culver students with a realistic business plan competition requiring teamwork, collaboration, and field research, under the guidance of a mentor entrepreneur.

The Elevator Competition

Have you ever had a Big Idea you never told anyone about? You know, the idea to launch a business, build a better mousetrap, or make Culver a better school? Well, you may get your chance in The Rubin School’s annual Elevator Competition. What’s an elevator competition? The average ride on an elevator lasts roughly 2-3 minutes. You don’t have a Big Idea if you can’t make your “pitch” to an entrepreneur in that amount of time. All Culver students are eligible to compete.

The Next Launch Business Competition

The Next Launch is a business idea competition hosted by The Rob Rubin School for the Entrepreneur at Culver Academies, in Culver, Indiana.

A business idea includes a description of a product, company, or service and its market need. Competitive products, companies, or services are assessed, analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of each competitor.
